Temperatures are cooling and leaves are falling. It's time to take a break from politics before the 2008 races start into full swing and spend some time with family and friends. There is a lot to be thankful for both as an American, and a Republican.
As Americans, we should all be thankful that we live in a free country, that has remained free despite serious threats to our way of life. As Republicans we should be thankful for the hard work of dedicated Republicans around the state and nation.
After Thanksgiving, it will be time to start making plans for the January Kansas Republican Party meeting. There will be some old traditions renewed, and some brand new traditions. The biggest change will be the impact that the Kansas Republican Caucuses will have on the GOP. With two presidential candidates already committed to participating, and more on the way, the excitement will be building through January and February.
Happy Thanksgiving from KGI

BJB, looks like you and I are the only two left to wonder what happened to the "Insider". If they only knew about the tension that used to exist between the third and fourth floors, huh?

Note to blog: the temperatures are below freezing and the limbs are now falling.
